About Local Progress and Local Progress Impact Lab
Local Progress and the Local Progress Impact Lab work collectively to advance a racial and economic justice agenda through all levels of government. Local Progress (LP) is a movement of more than 1,500 local elected officials advancing a racial and economic justice agenda through all levels of local government. The Local Progress Impact Lab (the Impact Lab) brings together local leaders, partners, and experts to build the knowledge, skills, and leadership needed to advance racial and economic justice at the local level.
Project Overview:
Local Progress and the Impact Lab is seeking an experienced Survey Data Analyst to help analyze the first member survey we’ve completed since becoming an independent organization. We expect to have around 200-250 responses to a survey with 29 questions, the majority of which are not open ended. We may or may not have enough responses for determining statistical significance, nevertheless we are hoping to uncover trends from our membership about what we are doing well, what we could be doing better, and what their priorities are for the coming years. The results of this survey will inform our work in 2026 and beyond.
In addition to providing analysis, we are looking for someone who can write up the results and share them in a digestible format for non-technical audiences, including stakeholders at the executive level. You may also be asked to work in tandem with our Membership Data Manager, who designed and owns the survey internally.

- Prepare visualizations (charts, graphs)
